If you have not planted Dahlia tubers in spring - now lush flowering varieties are available at the store. Whether in a pot on the patio or in the flower bed, dahlias really stand out both as soloists and in combination with other flowering plants. They are offered in various shapes and colors. You can find suitable varieties in any size and for any color combination. In perennial beds they are great to act as a stopgap for varieties that are already withered in summer.

With good nutrient and water supply, they bloom profusely until late autumn. Then the tubers overwinter in a box covered with peat or sand, frost-free, dry and cool. After the last frost, they can be planted again.
