USA Partner Country for Ambiente 2015
Japan hands the Partner Country Globe to the USA
During a ceremony to mark Japan’s presentation as Partner Country at this year’s Ambiente, Messe Frankfurt announced the Ambiente Partner Country for 2015. “We are delighted that the United States of America will be next year’s Partner Country of the world’s leading trade fair for the consumer-goods industry.
As hosts, we will offer long-standing and new exhibitors from the ‘land of opportunity’ the perfect setting for a successful Partner Country presentation”, said Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
Ambiente visitors can already look forward to an impressive appearance by the new Partner Country. Numerous guests from the world of politics, business and society attended the ceremony, during which Japanese Ambassador Takeshi Nakane handed over the Partner Country Globe to Kevin C. Milas, Consul General of the United States of America. Among them Japanese actress Rila Fukushima and Yukio Hashimoto, designer and ambassador of the ‘Partner Country Japan’ project at Ambiente.
During the ceremony, Kevin C. Milas, said, “Ambiente is the world’s leading event for design trends in the consumer-goods sector. With more than 4,700 exhibitors from around 90 countries, it is an outstanding platform for U.S. home-products companies that want to strengthen their position in international markets. We are excited about our upcoming cooperation as Partner Country with Messe Frankfurt for 2015, and we look forward to showcasing cutting-edge American interiors, housewares and outdoor design products.”
